Battle of Britain

↑ The Battle of Britain .

This website is really good.

There are a lot of information about the Battle of Britain here.
It made me know the background, the plans,
and even a Change in Strategy of the battle.

I am more interested in the part of Eagle Day.
I think that is special.

On August 1,
Fuhrer Directive No.17 was issued from Hitler's headquarters.
They started to fight the RDS, British radar installations.
Howerer, Hitler got lose, and August 10 became Eagle Day.

↑ Battle of Britain Memorial

This website talked about Battle of Britain Memorial.
I look the pictures there, and read the writing.

The memorial is cool.
It is in the shape of a propeller.
The Battle of Britain Memorial is devoted to the memory of those lost

in the Battle of Britain from July to September 1940.
The three blades are chalk,
the central stone memorial is of Bickstead Blue Stone,
and the rest of the stone memorial is of Sandstone.

I thought that it looks like a fan.

↑The planes during the Battle of Britain .

This website has pictures, writing, and also a movie.
I watched the movie, and then read the writing.

The Battle of Britain was fought over southern England
between the British Royal Air Force and Germany's Luftwaffe.
British history dates the battle from July 10, to October 31, 1940,
which represented the most intense periods of bombing.
They fought by air forces.

The movie is a good way to learn more.

  1. Excellent work. Your organization is perfect, with everything so neat. You really have got the hang of the format. There isn't mch to improve, though you'll get better at searching and reporting as time passes.
